Camden County Bar Installs New Officers

This past Saturday Brenda Eustler was installed as the Camden County Bar Association President for 2012-2013 and Linda Eynon was installed as the Bar Foundation’s President.  With Linda’s installation, I officially became the past  past president of the Foundation.  No tears please.  I know I will remain just as committed to the Foundation and the Association just in the cherished past president role. The Installation Dinner dance was held at the Rutgers Camden campus and by all accounts was  spectacular.   Brenda and the Bar Association staff did a fantastic job making sure no detail was overlooked.  The event was emceed by Don Tollefson.  Below are a few photos from the evening:     Below are my “Fairwell Remarks” that were printed in the program book.

Thanks for a great run!

It seems like forever ago that I attended my first Camden County Bar Association Young Lawyers Committee meeting at a law office on the White Horse Pike in Barrington New Jersey. Actually forever ago was January 1997. Since the time I have stayed active in our Bar Association and held numerous leadership positions culminating with the opportunity to serve as the Camden County Bar Association President two years ago. Now, two years later I finish out my year as the Foundation President which is the last stop on remarkable journey.  Serving both organizations has been an enormous commitment of time and energy that is been well worth the investment. I am very thankful to everyone that enabled me to participate in such fabulous organizations. Our Foundation continues to grow and support the community at large.  We have increased our participation in scholarships, the children’s Christmas party, and the children’s picnic to name a few. Our programs would not be possible without the generous support of our members. Your purchasing tickets to events like the taste of South Jersey, buying an advertisement in tonight’s dinner dance program or bidding on our auction items really do make a difference for so many. Congratulations to Brenda Eutsler and Linda Eynon who are respectively taking the helm of our Bar Association and our Foundation.  They both have worked tirelessly to promote our profession and organized our efforts for giving back to our community. The accolades and honors that will be showered upon them tonight are richly deserved. I wish the officers and trustees of both organizations nothing but the best in the future. While my leadership run has come to a conclusion, I look forward to continued participation with a great group of colleagues and friends.
