Thanksgiving is a wonderful holiday the virtually everybody in the country celebrates. Synonymous with this holiday are families and friends getting together over a bountiful turkey dinner. For many, the Thanksgiving Day tradition includes football.  Fore some the football tradition is playing touch football on a field with old high school friends who have “come home” while for others it is simply watching one of the many football games on television.  FOr our contribution to “Thanksgiving tradition” you can view or past Thanksgiving Day messages. At the firm we feel very blessed at this time of year.  For people who may be struggling with life-changing issues such as divorce or pending criminal charges, expressing gratitude may not be a priority.  We believe  that giving thanks and expressing gratitude for blessings that we have is important.  It brings to mind a quote form the Greek Philosopher  Epictetus;

“We need to regularly stop and take stock; to sit down and determine within ourselves which things are worth valuing and which things are not; which risks are worth the cost and which are not. Even the most confusing or hurtful aspects of life can be made more tolerable by clear seeing and by choice.”
