Take a Moment to Appreciate Labor Day

We rarely, if ever, post  legal news or commentary on a holiday.  In fact we have always closed the office on Labor Day.  Today is an exception …  for the blog post  not for the office being closed.  (Just for the record, I wrote this entry in advance and programmed it to be published today.) For many, this day just marks the end of the summer or the beginning of the academic year.  Very few people actually take a moment to fully appreciate this holiday or its importance. The Smithsonian National Museum of American History has a blog.  And you guessed it, they have an excellent blog entry on Labor Day and its origins.  Trust me, this is an interesting read that is historically significant.  This blog is particularly interesting because they write about exhibits they have at the Museum. Truth be told I have never been to this museum but after reading the blog entries it’s going to be on my to do list. Enjoy this day and take a moment to learn a little bit about Labor Day and its origins. The office will be open tomorrow at 9 AM so feel free to give us a call then. If this is an emergency and you need immediate help send us an e-mail  by clicking here.
