Rooney Included in Top 12 List of “Rising Stars” in New Jersey Politics Published by Gannett Newspapers

Matt RooneyDid you read this past Sunday’s edition of South Jersey’s The Courier-Post? Or one of Gannett’s other New Jersey newspapers (Courier News, Daily Record, Vineland Daily Journal, Ocean County Observer, Asbury Park Press, or Home New Tribune)?

If you did, then you saw a special article featuring our very own DeMichele & DeMichele Attorney Matt Rooney.

Matt was named a “rising star” in New Jersey politics, particularly for his work in the realm of social media at his blog, Save Jersey.

Gannett explained how its newspapers made their “rising star” selections:

Some of the names you may already have heard of. If you haven’t yet, political observers from around New Jersey believe there is a good chance you may in the next five to 10 years, if not sooner. We contacted party leaders and elected officials from every corner of the state and asked them to tell us which elected or aspiring public officials, or those behind the scenes, were likely to emerge as the next generation of leaders at the regional and state levels and beyond…”

The article’s authors noted how Matt “has developed a following around the state due to his blog…” You can learn more about this story by visiting Matt’s website. On behalf of the entire firm, I’d like to congratulate Matt for his hard work and success both inside and outside of the practice of law!
